"Complex Member Object Initialization": I'm a very big fan of your approach. BUT it requires that the declaration of ComplexType is included by the declaration of MyClass. And sometimes there are cases when it's better to just declare "class ComplexType" and use a pointer to it (of course you can also use a shared_ptr member), it's the "impl pattern"
